About the Role

We’re building AI-powered infrastructure that helps media teams automate workflows, move faster, and make better decisions with data.

As a Senior Forward Deployed Data Engineer, you’ll work directly with media agency customers to solve complex data challenges and deliver end-to-end implementations. You’ll design custom pipelines, integrations, and workflows that connect customer data to AI-powered systems while serving as the technical bridge between customer teams and engineering.

This is a highly customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills, hands-on technical expertise, and regular travel to client sites.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with customers to understand data infrastructure and business goals
• Own technical delivery from scoping through deployment and optimization
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations
• Develop production-grade infrastructure with monitoring and documentation
• Implement secure, compliant data workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product direction
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices
• Communicate progress clearly with technical and business stakeholders

What You Bring

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in customer-facing or consulting environments
• Strong SQL and experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar platforms
• Expertise in Python and orchestration tools like dbt or Airflow
• Experience building scalable backend/data systems
• Strong data modeling and schema design knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and own projects end-to-end

Bonus

• Experience with LLMs and AI-driven data workflows
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of analytics and visualization tools
• Startup experience
