About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in board development and RF to join our hardware team supporting the design and development of advanced autonomous air vehicles.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in electrical architecture and PCB design, along with RF integration skills.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys taking hardware from concept through prototype, testing, and production.

Responsibilities

Select components based on electrical, thermal, mechanical, and mission requirements.
Design and develop electrical board assemblies.
Perform PCB layout, sourcing, programming, testing, and debugging.
Conduct RF link-budget and bandwidth analyses based on system requirements.
Select RF components and design RF chains.
Implement encoding and compression algorithms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
Experience with Altium.
Working knowledge of RF hardware, including radios, SDRs, antennas, and amplifiers.
Experience with UAS-relevant radios such as RFD, Microhard, Silvus, or similar.
Willingness to participate in field testing of RF systems.

Nice to Have

Experience with SDRs.
Knowledge of compression and encoding methods.
Experience with GNSS, FPGAs, radar, or optical sensors.
Familiarity with Jira.
